Sort Them Ducks Achievements

Twenty Steam trophies, ten secret eggs, and why a delayed pop is not a missable save.

Achievements

Sort Them Ducks ships 20 Steam achievements. The store highlights ten of them. The rest hide behind playtime, finishing families, spending coins, hunting eggs, or joke triggers the overlay will describe when you unlock them. This page is the trophy desk. The hide-and-seek props still live on easter eggs. Finish shelves with the walkthrough before you treat the overlay like a second job.

Steam community guides already exist for a full 100% list, including egg-timing trophies written in other languages. We will not invent coordinates or copy another writer’s screenshot grid. If the overlay name disagrees with this article after a patch, believe Steam.

The ten highlighted names

These are the trophies Steam puts on the store API. Treat the commentary as planning, not a datamine.

  • First Quack — the onboarding pop. Place a duck. If it does not fire, you are not broken; some pops wait for the next boot.
  • Getting Organized — early tidy progress. Keep sorting; do not restart to “force” it.
  • Quack Pack Leader — sounds like carry or crowd control. Raising the five-duck cap still helps every trophy that cares about volume.
  • Master Sorter — a mid or late sorting milestone. Sweep neighborhoods, not random handfuls.
  • Category Complete — one full family on the sign. Food, Superheroes, Pirates, or whichever aisle you actually finished.
  • Bills, Bills, Bills — almost certainly money. Correct placements pay. Wrong guesses only cost walking.
  • Maxed Out — lines up with finishing the upgrade tree. Buy carry first, then speed, then timed skills.
  • What the Duck?! — a joke trigger. Do not smash furniture expecting a combat game. Keep placing costumes; the gag will find you or it will not.
  • Duck Whisperer — flavor name. Play the loop; do not grind a whisper emote that does not exist.
  • Efficiency Expert — likely tied to skills, speed, or a clean routing habit. Timed reveal / highlight / fill-from-hand are the tools, not a skip button.

The other ten are still real. Open the Steam overlay in-game for the locked descriptions you have earned the right to see. A wiki that spoils every hidden line would turn a cozy shop into homework.

Delayed pops are a known quirk

Preview writers and Treat Your Geek both noted achievements that refused to pop until the next launch. Relaunch once before you assume a trophy is missable. Patch 1 already had to fix end-game counters; mixing trophy anxiety with a lying shelf is how people delete a good save. If the shop looks finished and the overlay still sulks, boot again, then read known issues.

Eggs are extra. Community guides describe ten secret eggs and a related timing trophy. Hunt them after the floor is no longer a minefield. Use high shelves because several secrets in this genre live up, not in the opening pile.

A calm 100% order

  1. Learn the HUD on Getting Started.
  2. Raise carry, then speed.
  3. Clear one neighborhood at a time with the checklist.
  4. Fix stuck counters with missing ducks and the in-game respawn.
  5. Finish the upgrade tree if you want Maxed Out.
  6. Walk the tidy shop for eggs.
  7. Relaunch once for delayed pops.

You do not need every timed skill for a finished store. If a trophy requires a skill, the overlay will say so. Steam still advertises no timer and no penalties. Play the way that stays fun, then mop trophies.

What this page will not do

It will not list fake percentages. It will not pretend we datamined the ten unpublished names. It will not tell you to idle in a corner for “playtime” trophies unless Steam’s own text says that. When a community guide and your build disagree after Patch 1, trust the shop you can walk through.

Official trophy icons live in the overlay. This wiki only helps you plan the hunt so the last hour still feels like a toy store. When you are done, the shelves should look like a catalog, not a spreadsheet. That is the point of a cozy 100%.

If a later patch adds trophies, Steam news will say so before we do. Until then, twenty is the number, ten are named in public, and the rest are waiting behind a clean aisle and one extra reboot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions players ask after a long sorting session.

How many Steam achievements does Sort Them Ducks have?

Twenty. Steam highlights ten names on the store. Some pop only on the next launch — relaunch before you hunt a ghost.

Do I need eggs to finish the shop?

No. Eggs are extra. The walkthrough and missing-ducks pages finish the shelves. Eggs help the 100% overlay.

What does Maxed Out mean?

It lines up with finishing the upgrade tree. Buy carry first, then speed, then timed skills.

Why did a trophy not pop after I finished a shelf?

Delayed pops are reported. Relaunch. If the shelf counter also lies, treat that as a known issue, not a missable trophy.

Where is the full hidden list?

In the Steam overlay and community achievement guides. We name the ten public trophies and refuse to invent the rest.
